Peppers beach club was perfect for us. We had a two bedroom apartment overlooking the awesome lagoon pool and it gave us the best of both worlds. We could laze by the pool and order drinks and food from the bar or, if we wanted to scale back we could cook our own food in our own kitchen in our room. The staff were great the pool is excellent and the location can’t be beat. 3 minutes walk to the Main Street. 10 minutes walk to the marina where the boats to the reef leave from and just around the corner from 4 mile Beach (not that you’d want to swim anywhere other than the pool).

Some real plus points for this resort and the staff were great.. just be aware of inadequate gym equipment, expectations of suites, and continental breakfast hygiene

Pool area was lovely, grounds around the complex well looked after, room was clean and in good condition, great space in the suite overall and nice bedroom, and all the staff were all really nice. What let it down: flies all over the open breakfast pastries counter so we didn't eat any of it (easily solved - get a covered display cabinet!). They 'gym' had only 4 pieces of cardio equipment, 2 of which were broken and the set of weights weren't suitable. 'Suite' had very cheap wardrobe / bathroom not at all befitting of a suite plus light of bathroom flooded bedroom if used at night. And we couldn't use the balcony as it was on the road but we were not aware of this when we booked which was very disappointing.

Great central location with a warm pool

Spoiltkid Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

We celebrated my husbands 60th in Port Douglas with 100 friends. The pool at Peppers was a central feature of the weekend. Peppers location was great for all our activities and our penthouse was amazing for socializing in with the private pool, and BBQ.
