I have recently stay at Mercure HOTE Gold Coast, the overall experience was good the morning staff was cooperative. One night while I was sleeping Thursday morning around 12:30am, 02.30am & 3:30am 9th may someone next door was keep locking the door very badly I got scared immediately called reception to check what’s going on. They did check it out back no call back from the night team. Found out some regular guest got drunk locking the doors might of nights. Furthermore, emergency evacuation took place 6:30am. I would strongly recommend to put something under the door to stop the strong noise it’s very loud when someone close the door on same level. Thanks

Overall, it was a good experience. The entire staff is very helpful, especially Sam, Monika, and Gene. However, there is a need for better communication among them. The resort is satisfactory, rooms are spacious but are not luxurious. Room service is commendable, and the rooms are basic. However, the breakfast spread remained the same throughout our four-day stay. It would be beneficial if the spread could be more varied.
