Great self contained villa & good pool and Sauna

Pleasant without any major issues. No Nespresso in the unit but this was rectified quickly by the staff. No internet for most of the second day but this was caused by weather and out of your control.

On checkin, as has become my practice, I asked if we had been upgraded. I was advised that we had not as there was a conference on and not upgrade was available. I accepted this (IAW my membership level). The next morning we asked how the conference was going and was advised that there was no conference at the moment. Just wondering how that works with no upgrade offered and was that earlier advice just an excuse. The room was clean, but was tired and in need of some maintenance (painting of walls, toilet cistern leaking, shower needs work). The food in the bar (as restaurant was not operating) was below standard and not what we expect from an ACCOR eatery.

I was upgraded upon arrival to a 3-bedroom apartment which was nice but unnecessary. The breakfast was nice. While the apartment was very nice what I most needed was a really good night's sleep. Unfortunately there was a constant banging noise through most of the night, presumably because of the winds causing trees and other objects to smack against the side of the building. So instead of being well rested I was up trying to find the quietest spot, unsuccessfully as it was loud in all rooms. The Wi-Fi was non-functional (I was told at check in there was a problem) and the TV reception was not working either and I was unable to watch the channels I was hoping to. While there was an EV charge station in the main building, it was occupied and so I was unable to get the car charged.
