We had originally booked in at the nearby Harrigan's, however there were some maintenance issues related to our rooms so we were contacted and asked if we wouldn't mind being re-located to the Mercure - also at Pokolbin. We (a party of four) had no objections to the move and were happy with our rooms and the overall ambiance of the hotel.

Most friendly and competent service. A very well presented establishment in a lovely setting. At other Accor hotels and at other times, I have been let down by the lack of special treatment whilst on a special occasion. Not this time. The treatment here was over and beyond expectations. A most memorable way to celebrate a 52nd wedding anniversary. Very high praise for the consideration by management.

Problems were, one chair for 3 people had to use outdoor chairs and table that we brought inside, only 1 knife and no spoons.
