BEWARE ROOM 120. Poor on multiple levels.

Check in was disorganised, they weren’t expecting us, even though I had called and emailed to confirm our stay weeks before arrival. Wven though it was 15:30 on arrival, the Window sills in the corridor on the way to our room were littered with empty, glasses, bottles, and cans. At the bottom of a small set of stairs was rubbish bags piled up with empty food plates stacked next to them. Room 120 was reasonably clean apart from the bathroom which has mould on the shower head and roof. Food is overpriced and not to a good standard, “Asian street food” 3 for £22 should read, Iceland deep fried selection with some spring onion and chilli sprinkled on. DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 120. This room is located next to the SPA laundry room, during our two night stay the washing machine and tumble dryer were left on constantly. I complained about this after our first night, the same thing happened the next night, I again went to reception at 01:00 to complain. This was supposed to be a relaxing spa break, however, it turned into a hotel from hell break. I am still awaiting a response from Sophie and Gemma to discuss compensation for what was truly a terrible hotel experience.

The beds were tiny for the 3 of us so we had to buy a second room at the premier inn for the 3rd person. The reception is situated facing the wrong way and guests have no way of knowing where the team are, though they were all great when they appeared. We had 3 nights and house keeping was different both mornings. One morning we had new tea making facilities but the beds weren’t made. The 2nd the beds were made but we had towels missing. Also, one morning as I was about to pull forward out of the car park a staff had entered the car park at the same time and turned right at speed to park, which is a hazard.
