The most wonderful stay

My parents and I had the best stay at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr. The Gold Lounge experience was exceptional. The staff at this hotel go beyond their duty to ensure you are always looked after and they exceeded our expectations. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. However, there are a few to specially recognise. Mr Sajid arranged our Gold Lounge suite for which we are extremely grateful. His care and welcome was exceptional. The concierge staff are all friendly and helpful. We were looked after by Stephen, Mark and Paolo in the Gold Lounge who could not do enough for us. We are so grateful to them. Phoo, Alfam and Cristian also gave us excellent service in the Gold Lounge. We also visited Marco Pierre White steakhouse and had the best steaks ever. The staff were excellent. And thank you to the staff in Bridges Bar. We hope to return very soon - a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect.

Superb view and a true 5 Star

Fairmont Had a very comfortable stay for four nights. We booked a Junior suite room, which gave us extra space. As we are a couple with a kid, so always need an extra bed, the extra space and the view made our stay more comfortable. We had the amazing view of the Sheikh Zayed mosque, the beach and the pool. Our Travel dates were during the Ramadan month and there was very elaborate arrangement for Iftar. Although, most of our meals were from Marco’s Italian and the Bar. There was no steam room in the hotel, which was a little disappointing considering it the most luxurious five star, though I did use the sauna which was a good experience. Pool is huge and there’s a a Jacuzzi too, loved the temperature. Special Mention for the very special Staff Mustafa at the réception was very helpful, so was Akma at the concierge, Roy from the housekeeping team charmed us with his Towel art. Every time we came back after a long day, we were surprised with the mesmerizing towel art he had made. Seeing the towel dog wearing our sunglasses was amazing, have never seen anything like this before. Sajid, the duty manager helped us in extending our stay for another night and getting the same room so he saved the hassle of packing and unpacking again and again. Bibhuti from the Bridges bar and the other girl (16 and 18) were very accommodating, quickly understood our requirement and served us perfectly so many times during our stay. Only the staff at the Marco Italian, and Lobby lounge wasn’t great. They both had difficulty in understanding clear English.

Lovely hotel with great pool and beach and fantastic staff

We had a fantastic stay at the Fairmont. The hotel is lovely, very clean and spacious. The rooms are huge. The bathrooms beautiful with waterfall showers and free standing bathtubs. Huge beds which are super comfortable and support a great night sleep The staff are all so helpful and friendly. A special call out to Reem who was wonderful. She checked us in and out and was so friendly and helpful, she made us feel really special and nothing was too much trouble We were on a half board package and the food options were great. The Marco Pierre White restaurant was lovely and the buffet restaurant superb - food from all over the world to such a high standard The pool and beach areas were large and clean, with plenty of staff to help with anything you needed Had a fabulous stay and really recommend - will definitely return
