Very disappointed

My friend & I stayed here last week for 2 nights. It was a special occasion for our 60th joint birthdays & to see a show. The Theatre was just across the road do we thought perfect. We were in an executive suite with 2 double beds. They were comfortable. Great views. However our aircon did not work in our room. It was 24.5° in our room. Incredibly stuffy, we had to leave the aircon fan on high so it was so noisy we hardly got any sleep. We went & told the service desk twice, also house keeping twice. Every time they said we will get a technician out. No one came!! It was raining outside & the humidity was terrible. We were so disappointed. We also ordered room service as the bar restaurant had closed after our show. Only a ham & cheese toastie & 2 glasses of white wine. The toastie dry & inedible & one of the glasses was red wine. There was no apology for the mix up. We felt like we had done the wrong thing. Although we laughed a lot had fun. We paid top dollar for our room & we were incredibly disappointed with our room. Sorry we won’t be back.

I am pleased that the Executive Suite was comfortable and had views for you both to enjoy. Thank you for sharing your experience regarding the air conditioning system in the executive suite, I am disappointed to learn that our Engineering team were unable to rectify this issue during your stay and I have shared your feedback with our Chief Engineer. We appreciate you providing feedback regarding the in room dining order, and I am sorry again that your order was not delivered to order. Comfortable Room and Great Breakfast

The room was comfortable and the breakfast was suburb. Our two negative issues were:- Our room was not available when we arrived at 4.p.m. We had to wait 30 minutes. The excuse was that an electrician was working on a faulty light. Personally, I believe the room was simply not made up, hence the 30 minute delay. Housekeeping did not visit on the second day, despite us being out from 10a.m. to 7p.m. The first thing I noticed on reaching our corridor was that the green light for housekeeping was still on. I thought that they had forgotten to switch it off but soon discovered that no one had been in.
