A welcoming staff for your stay convenient stay in beautiful Florence

This was our first time at the Mercure and it may become our base for any future visit to Florence. First off, the Mercure staff was wonderful, caring and showed an attention to details and willingness to serve that only a family can provide. The hotel is clean, well designed and nicely decorated. Some of the amenities like water bottle dispenser and coffee machine with some local sweets are conveniently located in the lobby. The room was large and well designed. Access to a private patio was available on our first floor room to enjoy our lunch. We did not use the breakfast room. The valet parking was prompt and seamless. The hotel is 5’ away from Florence main station, a tram that easily connect to the airport and steps away from Giotto’s tower and Brunelleschi’s dome. Piazza della Signoria, Galleria degli Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio are a 15’ away easy and beautiful walk. Highly recommended!

I stayed at the Mercure Firenze Centro at the end of March for a business trip. I was there with my wife and my German Shepherd dog. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable. Staff is professional and friendly. Dogs are welcome and all the staff knows hot to deal with them. Excellent location close to the railway station. Good restaurants nearby. Very good choice for business travellers.

We recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in Florence, and we can’t recommend it enough! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the train station and close to all the main attractions. The hotel itself is spotless, with a beautifully clean and comfortable room that made us feel right at home. The service was exceptional, with every staff member going above and beyond to ensure a great stay, but we have to give a special shout-out to Chiara. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure all our needs were met with a smile. This hotel is the ideal base for exploring Florence, and I will definitely be returning on my next trip!
