This is the kind of hotel you see in movies. No joke. It’s f’ing beautiful. Peaceful, modern, quiet, picturesque. If you want an upscale hotel experience in the boonies like Zhouzhuang, this is your hotel. While I don’t think we’ll ever return to the water town (too touristy for our taste), we’ll forever remember this property. Protip: Skip the breakfast. The options were pretty lackluster and a lot of the food was cold. See attached photos. Just take a taxi to somewhere local.
