My experience staying at Ibis Melaka hotel was very disappointing. This is because the air conditioner did not function properly. At night, I informed the front office to resolve the issue, but I believe they only sent a cleaner to address the problem. I could identify this through the uniform he was wearing. He simply pressed the ON/OFF button a few times and said "DONE" before leaving. A qualified technician would have informed me, "Please wait 15 minutes, and if it's still hot, call me back." I gave up on the unprofessional way of resolving the issue and decided to check out early in the morning. My decision is that it will be difficult for me to return to this hotel again.

Well there is some hiccup during check in, when the FO told me that my booking was a twin bed but everything sort out after I show them my booking confirmation or maybe they are overbooked on Queen Beds thus trying their luck if I’m ok with twin bed, waited for about 20 mi tree for our room to be ready even though it was almost 7.30pm in the evening. Anyway Staffs at ibis are all friendly and approachable and OMG the pools and slides were amazing, my kids really enjoy their stay there. Overall it was a good stay and well deserved holiday…

Room ceiling was leaking. Air-conditioning not functioning well. There was a indicator to clean foil on the control panel. Mosquitoes in the room. We simply couldn't sleep!
