Nice hotel definitely worth a stay

We were upgraded to a lovely suite was we were celebrating my birthday. The hotel was extremely quiet as it was off season and it was Ramadan all the hotel bars were closed. Breakfast and the evening buffet were made up of traditional Muslim food for those starting / ending their fasts. The usual menus were not available which we not aware of. Alcohol was not being sold over this period either. As those fasting eat early we found the staff over zealous when putting food away. Cereals and other foods had been cleared when we arrived for breakfast so we had to ask that everything be put back out again. At dinner staff were on standby with clingfilm to clear food and the moment we got up everyone starting packing things away . We were the only two left and it was just gone 8ish so way before dinner ended. Whilst we were eating all the drinks on the side of the buffet were poured away too. Upon complaining , the team apologised profusely and gave us both complimentary massages. Spa and gym facilities are nice but the ladies steam room wasn’t working so maintenance were called. I used the men’s facilities as we were the only ones in there. Overall the hotel is lovely and rooms were cleaned twice a day and to a very high standard. Staff at reception are amazing and so helpful. The kind gesture of a birthday cake and fruit sent to our room was so nice . One thing we did notice there were quite a few bottles of water in the room something which some hotels do not provide. Apart from the minor issues we experienced we would most definitely would stay here again and obviously outside of the Ramadan period.
