The room we stayed was not big but the space was efficiently utilised with modern renovation. It feels clean and new and the hotel was within 10min walk to Dongdaqiao station. There is no great shopping nearby (except for a few small local selling buns and fruits). The 7-eleven next door was unfortunately closed for renovation. However, we had breakfast at the Bai Wei 百味 porridge restaurant (to the left of the hospital opposite the hotel) and it was very good and affordable.

A simple hotel

We were forced to stay at this Hotel, when our original booking through booking.com was cancelled. What is there to say except that this is very simple accommodation. The Breakfast room was closed because of the China holiday week (somewhat odd for a hotel?), which was disappointing. There was an unusual and unpleasant smell in the foyer. The beds were very very hard.The people working there were very nice - and helpful. We didn't really look forward to going back to this hotel in the evenings.
