Good for cheap break away

Me and my partner are currently at the end of our stay at this hotel. Our expectations weren’t very high due to the price and previous reviews. I will start with the pros -It’s in an amazing location right next to shops the bus and train station and plenty of choice of places to eat. We would recommend Bella Italia across the street. - the hotel is reasonably priced although upon checking the prices seem to go up after we leave -reception staff are very friendly Cons - most things in the room do not work for example the hairdryer, bathroom towel radiator and the window does not open at all. The kitchens dishes and utensils needed washed when we arrived as there was still hardend food on them. Dishwasher stank so we had to hand wash everything Room was dusty with dust hanging off ceiling light Beds were rock hard and a little bit broken No housekeeping unless you want to pay for it to be cleaned therefore you get what you get 2 towels, 2 toliet rolls etc… no top ups. The hotel does have a “shop” but the prices are sky high for example we walked past a man who didn’t speak English who was trying to buy a small can of something and a worker (not reception staff ) charged him 4 pounds which seemed a bit extortionate. The hotel does have a laundry room however one out of the two machines is out of order and the other is coverd in black slime also they charge an arm and a leg for a wash and dry. You need to scan your key card to get into the hotel to use the lifts and to get into your room which seems a little excessive especially when carrying shopping. Overall for the price we payed we didn’t mind these cons however if we were to pay the current rate online we would have been extremely disappointed. We would return again at the right price.
