Rubbish Hotel

Very bad. I have been staying in Accor group hotel for last 25 years. I never stayed such a rubbish hotel. My last two Ibis Style hotel stays in Amsterdam airport & Lisbon were fantastic. Ibis style should modern and contemporary style nice hotel. However, ibis Styles Paris Val de Fontenay was very bad hotel. Looked old, dark, room was small without any chair (Double room), air-conditioning was not working, somebody was working on it and the panel at the ceiling was open, shower head was cracked and leaking to electric exhaust fan causing risk for electrical shock, bath room mirror lights glass was broken, face panel of bathroom exhaust fan was broken. I never felt that I am staying in a Ibis Style hotel. I complained and asked to repair air-conditioning & shower head or change the room. However, nothing has been done.

We stayed en route to Disney and it worked out as a great location not too far from the park. The hotel concierge was friendly and helpful and the rooms smart and clean. Breakfast was excellent with wide range and nicely cooked foods. Only couple of gripes were - the beds had a memory foam mattress topper which was very odd and didn’t feel too comfortable. My preference is for a bed on the firmer side so may be just my preference. Also the finish on the rooms is a little tired - embedded dirt in corners and chipped paintwork etc.
