The White Hart Hotel is set in an elegant Grade II listed building, close to Salisbury Cathedral. Centrally located in the old town, our historic 4-star Salisbury hotel dates back to the 1600s, blending original Georgian character with modern comfort and amenities. With 80 rooms, including 12 new apartments, our hotel makes an ideal base for visiting Stonehenge, the New Forest and Wiltshire. We're located in Salisbury's historic centre, just opposite the cathedral. Nice bedroom but lacking in basics such as a safe, just one pillow and a cushion (?), the rainfall shower was hardly a rainfall and a very limited number of hangers in the wardrobe. Most disappointing was on the Saturday morning when our room was not made up and we mentioned it to reception. They contacted the young girl seemingly the supervisor who chose to debate whether we had left the sign the wrong way round - we definitely didn't. Why debate it? Surely you get the job down without comment or even apologise. Not good customer service. In comparison the young lady serving in the breakfast room and foyer was extremely polite and efficient.
