"Budget" for the hotel, not for its visitors

There is nothing that I specifically dislike about the hotel - it was clean and nicely situated, and the breakfast was good and relatively cheap - but there are things that I couldn't stop thinking about during my stay. The hotel does indeed feel very "budget-y" - the room was tiny and didn't even have a "normal" bathroom, there were no power outlets near the bed, and the quality of the furniture (like the mattress, the toilet) was subpar. I would be perfectly fine with this, but the price does NOT suggest the hotel is very budget. For a similar, and most likely even a lower price, I could've rented an entire apartment and eaten breakfast in a restaurant instead. The hotel claims to support sustained development initiatives (such as your room not being cleaned unless you ask for it), but I didn't notice any difference. For example, I followed the instructions to prevent my room from being cleaned during my stay, but it still was. I think that this hotel is a decent enough choice for business trips (like mine), but if you can, I would look for different hotels or apartments instead.
