Have stayed here many many times. Came early so I was told a £30 fee would be due if I wanted room early. This is extortionate! Also girl on reception required id which I didn't have. This is also something new which I wasn't aware of and she was non too polite in telling me. So I left my luggage and went out. At 3pm then of course because of the extra charge you have a long queue of people waiting to check in. Room wasn't fantastically clean dark long hair on shower door. Just want to say it wasn't broke so don't fix it!

The first time in an IBIS Hotel (Brighton 18 – 22 April 2025), and pleasantly surprised. The room was basic but clean with everything needed, and the shower was superb being powerful but you didn’t need an engineering degree to sort out how to use it. We had a dog friendly room (306) which was very near the main reception and exit as well as the dining area which was also dog friendly. The room location was superb for walking the dog at all hours but was not too close to be disturbed by noise. The breakfast was really good value and offered a comprehensive choice of hot and cold dishes suitable for all tastes. I also learnt how lovely oat milk is in coffee!! The bacon was just how I like it ... well done, but may not be to everyone's taste. I did notice that I could have ordered a freshly fried egg!!! A great plus point was the pleasant, cheerful attitude of the competent and efficient staff who helped us willingly with our questions and other needs. Well done.

The staff were friendly and helpful as always - Brighton City Centre Ibis have set the bar higher for the other Ibis I stay at with their Silver Member rewards, on top of the usual welcome drink there were also cookies and chocolates in the room, which was most appreciated, other branches take note ;-)
