Reception staff were very welcoming. Once we had worked out the route, the walk from the airport terminals was fine. Room was comfortable and clean. As exopected from Ibis Budget.

Ant-infested room, air conditioning not working, not a comfortable stay at all

Although the hotel was in great prxoximity to the airport, the room itself was far below standard. On the second night of a 2-night stay there were ants coming through the join between the wall and the ceiling, all around the room. I woke in the night with them crawling on me, leading to an extremely interrupted sleep. The air conditioning also was not working although the remote had working batteries, it did not seem to be sending a signal to the unit to power on. As an ALL Accor member this was by far the worst stay I've had in one of the group's hotels.

Disappointed with "deliberate" corporate confusion

Instead of Accor / Ibis group making a positive out of having 2 Hotels located at the Melb Airport I belive they are deliberately "NOT" differentiating between the 2 even though one is a good "Budget" class Motel and the other is an absolute disgrace
