The top floors offer a fantastic view of Potsdam and the lakes. Some of the 13 meeting roo ms are also on the top floors, available for events of up to 200 people. The main train station is a short walk away. If traveling by car, take the A115 highway. The Berlin Tegel and Schonefeld airports are 22 miles ,35 km and 25 miles ,40 km away.

Wir durften vier Nächte hier verbringen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren zu dritt und hatten ein Zimmer in der 14. Etage, allein der Blick ist es wert hier zu übernachten. Das Zimmer war modern und sauber, toll fanden wir, dass das Zusatzbett hier ein richtiges Bett war auch die räumliche Trennung vom Doppelbett hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind nicht riesig, für einen Städtetrip aber absolut ausreichend. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl an Speisen (auch vegan) und war lecker. Alles in allem ein sehr guter Aufenthalt und wir kommen gern wieder

Perfekte Lage, aber kein Drei-Bett-Zimmer

Wir haben das Drei-Bett-Zimmer gebucht. Tatsächlich würden wir es eher als gepflegtes Wohnklo bezeichnen. Nicht weil es ungepflegt ist -dies ist nicht der Fall!-, unser Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt! Sondern weil die Zimmer recht klein und das Badezimmer offen ist. Es gibt keine Tür zum Bad, lediglich einen rollenden Sichtschutz. Bei jedem Toilettengang ist die Familie also live dabei. Hinzu kommt, dass das Hotel an der Hauptverkehrsader Potsdams liegt. Wer empflindliche Ohren hat, sollte sich Ohropax mitnehmen. Denn sonst ist das Schlafen bei geöffnetem Fenster kein Genuss. Wen das nicht stört, dem dürfte es hier an nichts fehlen. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, das Frühstück ausreichend und das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Ein mega + nebenan ist ein Büro von Europcar. Außerdem liegt das Hotel fußläufig zum Hauptbahnhof. Mit dem Zug ist man zügig am Flughafen und in Berlin. Da der Regionalzug zum Flughafen in Potsdam beginnt, gibt es hier auch keine Verspätungen (im Gegenteil zum chaotischen Bahnsystem in Berlin). Die Innenstad und die Schlösser in Potsdam sind flußläufig erreichbar. Wer eher der bequemeren Generation angehört, kann aber auch direkt vor der Haustür die öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nehmen. Wer in die umliegenden Schlösser möchte sollte ich sich aber vor der Reise bereits Tickets für die Führungen bestellen. Solange das Wetter es zulässt ist und bleibt Potsdam ein Touristenmagnet und ist entsprechend gut besucht. Wer Geburtstag hat darf sich freuen, im Filmstudio Babelsberg ist der Eintritt für das Geburtstagskind kostenfrei! Wir würden das Hotel tatsächlich aber wieder buchen, aber nur ein Zimmer mit etwas mehr Privatsphäre...
