We often stay here ands it's very convenient and we had a great meal, however, on the 48 hours after we left we suffered Noravirus and the only points of contact was this hotel and the ferry (we didn't stop elsewhere).

Made a very late night booking but on arrival the staff were very helpful. The room was clean and quiet and breakfast acceptable

We ate in the restaurant which has been refurbished since we last visited. The experience was OK and the food was of a good quality BUT why is wine so expensive? And the bar, which used to be quiet and welcoming for a drink after a long drive, is now a corridor with bench seats and no atmosphere. I think your designers could have done better.
