we came to attend the Colmar 80th annual liberty and we thought it would be finished very early, so i didnt ask for late checkout. we called the hotel front desk for late checkout as soon as we found that we cant go back hotel on time. however, the front desk said we would throw your luggage out of your room if you cant come back on time. it's super rude! I must say that the old town fully got blocked because President Macron came and policemen didnt allow us to leave the event place which is under security control.
