A very good value hotel, well-located for the towns of Deauville and Trouville and for the sea. In retrospect, we regretted choosing the duplex room: whilst the balcony was welcome the upper floor, where the main bed was, was excessively hot and the air conditioning (which only went down to 17 degrees did not cure the problem of the chimeny-like design of the room. Hot air rises! The stairs were also over-steep fand dark for us (pensioners) at night, with the bathroom one level below the bedroom. There are, of course, two sofa beds downstairs, so we moved to these. Not the most comfortable, though. The garage was a good investment at €15 a night, although it is not easy to manouevre in and you need to watch out for the water that drips from the ceiling and leaves a deposit on your car. Despite these drawbacks there is much to like about this hotel. As I have said, the location is genuinely excellent with many good restaurants in walking distance and the staff are friendly, helpful, obliging, bilingual, and a pleasure to deal with. We would certainly come again, but we would book a different room.

Great location: very close to train station and center. The front desk personnel is very kind and very helpful… The room is clean with a nice view. We had everything necessary for a weekend stay!
