2 stays (3 nights and then 2 nights) during the week with a break in the middle due to an offsite meeting. For the first stay, the room was cold and the aircon was not working at all on the first night and, when fixed, was still cold. For the second stay, the rain shower was not working properly. However, that was not the issue. My issue on the second stay was with the bar / restaurant where some of the staff were not as friendly as should be expected - even being asked to pay / sign (with room number) in advance when ordering bar food. I have never experienced that before. Everything else was ok.

I stayed with family for a last minute booking. Almost all of the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and was as specified in the listing. I really liked the early checkin for extra 30 euro offer as well as we came early morning....I was not aware of this option until I booked. The only recommendation I have is displaying the early checkin option availability during the inital display at the searchresults for hotels (in Google etc)

A bit outside of downtown Madrid, but quite close to Barajas Airport. Room on the 7th floor was large but very warm, A/C didn't work properly. Had to sleep with window open which of course is loud due to its location close to a main road to central Madrid.
