I stayed here for two weeks on business with British Gas. The rooms are very well kept, tidy and provide the upmost comfort. My two week stay was split with 2 nights (Fri-Sat) spent at home. The staff were ever so kind ensuring I kept the same room upon my return to the hotel. The food is very tasty with a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. We received a first class service from the waiters and waitresses, in particular one of the waitresses (Rupanjali), who couldn’t do enough for myself and my colleague’s.

We arranged to have the celebration following my Mother's funeral on 25.2.25 at the Mercure Newbury, west grange hotel, and we were NOT disappointed. Shivangi and all her team were very helpful and we all had a wonderful Afternoon Tea for about 100 guests. They were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, I would certainly recommend this hotel (for any celebration) and the bonus is it is just round the corner from the crematorium, so guests do not have to travel anymore. Thank you all again for a lovely afternoon.
