Disappointing Experience at Novotel Eiffel Tower

stay at the Novotel, Eiffel Tower was extremely disappointing. The room was unbearably hot with no air circulation, and despite raising the issue multiple times over two days, all we were given was a fan. I have severe allergies, and being told the air system wasn’t working—without offering a proper solution—was unacceptable. There were supposedly no other rooms available until the third day, when they asked us to pack up and said they’d move us. We had plans that day and left our bags with the front desk, expecting to come back to a new room in the evening. When we returned, there was no room prepared for us, and they tried to put us back in the same overheated room. After more back-and-forth, we were told the air systems don’t run this time of year, which was a complete contradiction to what we were told earlier. Eventually, they moved us to another room, but the entire process was frustrating and unnecessarily drawn out. On top of that, we tried to get champagne glasses delivered to the room. We were passed around from one extension to another, and no one seemed capable—or willing—to help. There was absolutely no effort from the staff to support or assist us. The service was poor across the board, and not a single staff member showed the courtesy or hospitality you’d expect from a hotel in such a prime location. Overall, the lack of care, poor communication, and complete absence of basic hospitality made this stay incredibly disappointing. Would not recommend.

Fast check in. Water in the shower/bath was not working properly sometimes there was no water and sometimes it was burning hot and sometimes extremly cold. Had to have another mattress over the sofa bed because the spring was sticking to my childs back literally. Stayed in family room wich was a good size and great view over the seine. Our bed was comfortable

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is very close to the Eiffel Tower & easy access to metro. The staff is also very nice and helpful. We also stored our luggage after check out and again staff was very nice. The room & bathroom was OK - needs an upgrade esp the carpets. We felt a bit hot in the room. We just felt that no cleaning was done as the garbage can in the bathroom was not cleaned out and the tissues near the wash basin were not replaced. The flow of water is OK and so is the temperature. It remains hot for a minute or two and then becomes lukewarm. Didn’t really feel freshened up or relaxed after a long day of walking and sightseeing.

I stayed at this hotel with my two daughters. Our room was lovely and clean and very spacious for 3 people. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for a city break. Very central for our trip. Would definitely use this hotel again.
