Dear Vanamstel, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. I am genuinely sorry to read that your stay did not meet your expectations, and I would like to offer you my sincere apologies for the inconvenience you experienced. Your comments regarding the overwhelming number of tour groups during your arrival and at breakfast are absolutely valid. On the morning in question, we experienced an unusually high volume of departures from multiple groups, all with the same schedule. This led to a level of crowding we ourselves had not encountered before. We have already begun reviewing measures to better handle such situations in the future—for example, by opening breakfast earlier on high-volume days to ease the pressure and improve the overall guest experience. I also regret that you were unable to enjoy dinner or order room service on your first evening. While we do our best to accommodate every guest, capacity limits can unfortunately be reached during peak times. We're actively working on improving communication and guest flow, especially in situations involving large group check-ins. As for your remarks on the rooms and gym: we understand that the overall comfort and quality of facilities are essential. At our property, various areas are regularly renovated or renewed, and we hope to further improve our rooms in the future as well. Our fitness area is designed for basic workouts, though we understand it may not meet the expectations of guests seeking a more extensive gym setup. Regarding the bathroom, please allow me to clarify that it is heated through our central ventilation system, which is regulated by the temperature settings in the main room. This setup eliminates the need for a separate heating unit in the bathroom. Once again, I’m truly sorry that your stay with us did not reflect the standards you rightfully expect from a Novotel. Dear Mr. H., Thank you very much for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your recent stay did not fully meet your expectations. Regarding your room change, I would like to clarify that due to your spontaneous arrival with a pet, it was necessary to switch rooms upon check-in. All rooms that can accommodate pets are located on the first floor, as we must strictly separate these rooms due to potential allergies of other guests. However, I assure you that the room you stayed in was still a Superior Room, as booked, and no downgrade occurred. I also wanted to mention that during your last stay, you received an upgrade to a special MyRoom, which is a unique room concept that we have only once in the entire hotel. Unfortunately, this time, there were no upgrade options available, particularly since you had already booked the highest category available, the Superior Room. I regret that we could not offer a similar experience on this occasion. I regret that we failed to move the personal welcome amenities prepared for your ALL membership to your new room. Please accept my apologies for this oversight. Recognizing our loyal members is very important to us, and I am truly sorry for this lapse. As for the invoice, I also apologize that it was not emailed on the day of your check-out and that you had to request it. I will make sure to follow up with my colleague to reinforce the importance of promptly sending invoices. We appreciate your loyalty as an ALL member and hope that despite these inconveniences, you will give us another chance to provide you with a more enjoyable stay in the future.
