There are three nature reserves in Luxembourg which make perfect choices for hiking, cycling, and trekking. Small villages are tucked among the reserves, offering diverse leisure programmes as well as charming restaurants and shops selling local produce.
If you’re only in Luxembourg for a couple of days, we recommend spending at least one of them out in nature. The shockingly green landscape and clean air will make you glad you did.

Historic sites
Luxembourg is peppered with medieval and historical sites, including castles, fortifications, and picturesque villages. Many of the county’s castles have been restored to their intended beauty, providing visitors a unique opportunity to discover Luxembourg’s past.
From Vianden, Beaufort, and Bourschied to Bourglisteer and Clervaux, there are plenty of magnificent castles to choose from. Visit a couple or spend your whole weekend exploring!
