When to visit The Northern Territory
The climate of the Northern Territory is a little different to the rest of the states and this is because the land stretches so far between north and south. The north, also known as the Top End, has a tropical climate with two seasons: the Dry (May-Oct) and Wet (Nov-Apr). In the south, the Red Centre, it is an arid climate that follows summer (Dec-Feb), autumn (Mar-May), winter (Jun-Aug) and spring (Sep-Nov) seasons.
Getting around The Northern Territory
There are daily flights that operate between the major destinations of Uluru, Alice Springs and Darwin, while the Airnorth service can take you between the regional centres.
