My husband and I had a Singapore Sling in the famous Long Bar in this most beautiful hotel while staying over for 2 nights before joining a cruise around Asia. The bar staff were excellent, friendly, polite but very professional. We had to queue for a short time but it added to the 'excitement' of actually being there. Yes the drinks are expensive but absolutely worth it. We sat at the bar and watched the cocktail machine in action which was a wonderful sight if a little noisy. We were able to wander through the hotel lush green garden area where tea was being served by immaculately dressed staff. I had my photo taken with one of the iconic Sikh doormen, a very charming knowledgeable gentleman who although busy and very attentive to arriving and departing guests was kind enough to answer our questions about the hotel. Would we go back? Yes in a heartbeat! You won't be disappointed.

From the warm welcome at arrival to the attentive concierge service, every detail was handled with genuine care and professionalism. A special mention must go to our butler, Shannon, who was outstanding—thoughtful, discreet, and always one step ahead in ensuring we had everything we needed. Each morning began with breakfast in the Tiffin Room, which set the tone for the day beautifully. The variety was unbelievable—fresh, vibrant fruit selections, an incredible assortment of bakery items, and both European and international dishes, all prepared to the highest standard. Our suite was perfectly appointed, combining timeless elegance with modern comforts. The attention to detail throughout the room, from the plush bedding to the thoughtful amenities, made it feel like a true home away from home. What really sets Raffles apart is the people. Every staff member we encountered was not only friendly and welcoming but also exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. Raffles Singapore delivers on its legendary reputation in every way—a truly 5-star experience that we will always remember. We cannot wait to return.

One of my bucket list dreams was to visit Raffles in Singapore on my 60th birthday, and it came true! My husband and I sat at the iconic Long Bar, sipping on the famous Singapore Sling. The lovely bartender, Ling, made the experience even more unforgettable by sharing fascinating stories about the history of the drink and the rich heritage of Singapore. She truly became a part of my celebration, and her warm hospitality, along with the entire staff, made us feel so special. They are a true credit to Raffles! I will cherish that day
