5 day holiday to Paris. My room was fantastic, and the private garden was well beyond expectations. Your staff are excellent-especially Demba at reception, who couldn't have been more welcoming, and who had great recommendations for local restaurants and shops.

The hotel was modern and newly furnished. The staff was friendly and very helpful. However, we would have expected more from a 5-star hotel. The amenities did not exude quality, and the wellness area was below 5-star standard. The breakfast service was pleasant but not professionally trained.

What a find! I used to be in Paris almost every month, then came Covid and everything stopped and 4 years went by without a visit. Then I saw that The Musée des Arts Décoratifs has an Iris van Herpen exhibition on through the end of March and decided it was high time I came back. The hotel is absolutely fabulous-if there's a drawback, I haven't found it. My room is gorgeous, I have my own huge garden/patio (on the third floor!), the bed is really comfortable, the hotel smells amazing and it's in a brilliant location. 10 minutes to Bastille, 15 to the Marais, and walkable to the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Blvd. Hausmann etc. And a special note about the staff-Demba, on the front desk, is incredibly welcoming and full of suggestions on restaurants. The breakfast room staff are quick with espresso and the cleaning staff are friendly, quick and efficient.And don't miss the spa and hammam. Definitely hope to be back soon.

Enjoyed our stay overall but it felt more like a business hôtel than a 5 star hotel Breakfast is definitely a disappointment Pool sauna and Hammam were nice Room was okay well furnished and cosy but again not 5 star like Room was not ready when I arrived even though I called the day earlier to confirm check in hour - had to wait 35 minutes. They offered a drink and to wait a 20 more minutes but than they just got me a room somewhat ready ... The staff is super helpful and nice and location is ideal to discover Paris.

Fattycrab Business - TripAdvisor review

Good: Neighborhood, front desk staff, Inga, sauna, small pool, small chocolate at checkin. Bad: small room, overpriced, lobby, not enough coffee Ugly:non-working safe, long wait for room, broken coffeemaker Hotel Bastille Boutet is not a five star, and should not even try. Saying it doesn’t make it so, if you’re not working every day. A sauna doesn’t make a property a five star. Nor does a small indoor pool. There is no restaurant. The lobby is frankly tiny and lacks any elegance. The stairwell to the rooms is dark and industrial, but could use a bit of artfulness. They could try to make up for it in small ways, but they are concerned with making money, per the list of extra charges that is highlighted. An example of poor management, is not making the work of their employees better. We complained that the safe wasn’t working, which meant walking around at night with passport and cash. We told them and they said, “ Well, yes, you have to do what is not described in the instructions.” This is mental. What does it cost for the management to fix this simple matter? The employees can tell guests when they check in, but really? Why wait for guests to complain? A five star would have organized this better. Heck, a two star would. They ask the front staff do the heavy lifting of poor policies and management. The room staff is also nice and the robes make for a nice touch to go to the sauna. The sauna can’t makeup for everything. But the Boutet is not what one expected and so therefore, it’s a disappointment and one feels like one overpaid. One wants to like this hotel, but it works against one. Inga was helpful to get us a taxi. This was nice. The location of Hotel Bastille Boutet is cool, but I think that they advertise what they cannot deliver.
