Subject: Complaint Regarding Stay at Pullman Hotel Istanbul Dear General Manager, I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel, which, unfortunately, was the worst Pullman experience I have ever had. Upon checking into our room, we immediately noticed that both the window curtain and bathroom blind were broken. Additionally, the shower was not functioning well, and the room itself was neither clean nor well-maintained—it was completely worn out. Despite raising these concerns, it took two days for the hotel to relocate us, and even then, the new room was only marginally better. The quality of room service was equally disappointing. The food was so poor that we could not eat it. However, the most shocking experience was at your restaurant. We had to wait over 90 minutes for our food, while other guests who arrived an hour after us received their meals promptly. Not a single staff member offered any apology or explanation for this unacceptable delay. (Instead, the manager told us either to wait for another 30min to have food served and he would waive our bill, or just leave.) To make matters worse, when I requested to speak with the General Manager, there was no response whatsoever. Given such a series of failures in service and hospitality, I am genuinely puzzled as to how this hotel maintains its five-star rating. I expect a prompt response addressing these concerns, along with an explanation of how the hotel intends to improve its service standards to prevent future guests from experiencing similar issues. Okay Transit Hotel, Far From Sights

Stayed here in Dec 2024 with family…Turkish Airlines provided the hotel as their flights were delayed and we missed a connection. The hotel is about 30 min drive from Istanbul Airport and located near the old Ataturk Airport. So it may have been a convenient location earlier but now it’s just in the middle of nowhere. That’s my biggest issue, else it’s okay. A cab ride to the Grand Bazaar area would be $20…so probably not worth the money or effort. Check in and check out were okay…nothing special. Room was spacious…but think we were assigned a Family Room so that the extra bed could fit. I had been told by friends that had stayed here to not leave valuables in the room when out…so we took our passports and money with us to dinner. Most amenities were okay but somethings didn’t work like the safe and a power outlet. Food was surprisingly good in the restaurant. However finished items were taking a long time to replace. Couldn’t have breakfast in the morning as they dont open till 6/6.30am. This could be improved given that most residents are using TK to travel and flights are very early in the morning. Overall it’s fine as a transit hotel but not worth staying if you’re visiting Istanbul as a tourist and want to see the sights.
