Overpriced and issues are completely ignored - excessive noise.

I feel a bit let down by this property, we had genuine concerns that have been completely ignored. We experienced excessive noise during a stay in December with incredibly loud music and bass heard from inside the room due to an event hosted by other guests in the hotel reception (which we were not notified about at all) - it actually felt like we were standing outside a nigthclub. We attempted to address these concerns multiple times with the hotel, and have been completely ignored. This property is not up to Pullman standards, and is incredibly overpriced for what you get. The rooms are outdated, balconies are filthy, the wifi is completely broken and the rooms are not soundproofed. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone.

Disappointing, a let down

We were advised only 48 hours before our stay that the dining area ‘the other side of the moon’ would be closed for a private function. This was after we called a week earlier asking what dining options we would have at the Pullman during our stay. So we were shocked only a few days later to be advised that the restaurant and public areas would be unavailable because of a private function. At this late stage it gave us no other option but to continue on with our booking. At check in we were told we could have a limited room service menu for our dinner but were required to have our order in early. This is not what we expected from this ‘high’ end resort and somewhere where we looking forward to the luxury advertised. The function had loud music and there was no way of escaping it, due to the layout of the resort, fortunately we had some ear plugs in our luggage. We had no idea of how late the function would continue into the night. Eventually on calling the front desk we were advised that the music would cease at 10.30pm, which we are happy to say it did, but prior to that we were very anxious that we would be in for a long night. The positive in this story is that we had some lovely inter action from Paul who helped with our luggage and most of the staff were friendly. We just felt let down by the late notice and not having the luxury experience we were anticipating.
