Outback Hotel & Lodge - A member of ibis Styles 3.5 stars

You can see the full video review on my YouTube channel. @Travel.Stay.Explore Stayed here for 2 nights. Booked at standard Queen Room in the hotel. Lobby area was within the reception building. Was light and airy with plenty of space. We luckily arrived just before a coach did and were checked in quickly and professionally, given all the information about the hotel that we needed. Hotel is spread out over a reasonably sized area in almost like a motel/chalet set up of ground floor rooms. However there is plenty of free parking and it is all wheel chair accessible. Room - Size was very good with 2 queen beds in it Air conditioning - worked very well Fridge TV Wifi Tea and Coffee making facilities Plenty of luggage storage Bathroom - Decent size Massive mirror Hairdryer Plenty of space around the wash basin Good size walk in shower Shower products and face and hand wash as well Plenty of towels Toilet Complimentary Resort and Airport shuttle bus services Swimming Pool 2 restaurants - Bough House and Outback BBQ and Bar Check in was 3pm however we arrived early and was able to check in from 1:30pm We paid £180 per night and found a number of living and dead insects in the room. Appreciate the living ones might have found there way in when the maids were in the room however you would think the dead ones would have been cleaned away. Top tip - after you have got the insects out of your room, leave the do not disturb sign on the door. That way the maids wont come and tidy and leave the door open. Second night of our stay no insects came out into the room. Was the cheapest place to stay when we booked (not including camp ground and lodge) i don't think any of the hotels are worth the price within the resort but you are stuck because there's no where else to stay. Which makes it hard to review and score. Would probably stay again as its the cheapest hotel there

Great stay. Good facilities, fun free activities. All the workers and managers were very helpful and friendly they stopped to talk in the break fast room, around the bar and the lobby area. Even cleaners talk to us. They seem proud to share the spot with visitor like us. Know all about it and the tours. Rooms new and clean. Pool need more sun chairs. But too hot to use them anyway. Bar should be air conditioning fans don’t do enough even the water fans. Husband and Wife managers, Brook and Curt working at reception are very good and helped fix even when our mistake. Will come back again but in colder times.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Uluru 4 Feb to 8 Feb.. Stayed at the Outback staff was friendly and rooms very neat and tidy. Staff was always friendly when met them. BBQ was nice too. Disappointment was shocked to see the manager hotel could not see his name but tag was manager. He treated his staff very rude in front of guest, speaking to them down. He was actually very disrespectful. Overall we had a good time when it comes to treating people all are equal and perhaps being nicer in front of guest.

I stayed two nights in the Men's 20 bed dorm and I found it to be quite good! The bunk was comfortable with sheets and blankets you make up yourself. Granted, I had one "roommate" sleeping directly across from me, so I was able to organize my stuff and use the upper bunk to fold clothes and lay stuff out to organize. If it was a full house, maybe not so roomy. I think there were probably a total of 5 people in the dorm room while I was there honestly. When someone comes and goes, you can hear the door close, etc. I went to bed fairly late after doing some star photography, so didnt affect me. The showers and toilet house was right across from our building and was very clean and convenient. There was even a laundry room with 3 washer and dryers (Although I used the outside laundry lines to hang dry my stuff) Says power only detergent, but I got the go ahead to use my little liquid packet I brought in my bag. Super convenient, and FREE! Close by there's a bar area with pool tables and a free water station. A nice area to hang out and read or play board games is a small building that I included in the pics. All inside dorm and chill areas are air conditioned (Not bathhouse and toilets tho) All in all I thought this was a GREAT deal for a solo traveler, since the reg hotel rooms are so pricey! 2 Thumbs up! PS. I bought the optional breakfast and I thought it was a great deal! Nice selection of fresh fruit, eggs, meats, pastries, coffee etc. Good deal in my opinion!

The room service staff provided excellent service, and the reception staff were equally commendable with their professionalism and friendliness. Great clean room. However, the experience at the Outback kiosk and bar fell short of expectations. There was a noticeable lack of professionalism from some staff members. At the kiosk, we received no acknowledgment while waiting in line to place an order, and the female staff members appeared disengaged, offering no greeting or assistance. Similarly, certain staff members at the bar displayed a similar lack of attentiveness, resulting in poor service overall.
