Staff were lovely at reception. Room was clean and comfortable. Went to pool area to order a cocktail, asked to see the menu that I was looking at at the back of bar and bar attendant told me she didn’t have one- I pointed to it, she gave it to me then proceeded to tell me that I could not get it from there I would have to go down stairs. Then she said but I do have some of the stuff. So I just had nothing. Breakfast was excellent- love the auto pancake maker and decent coffee too!

The facility was beyond my experience of Gladstone, a forerunner in true comfort and facilities. Yes, it is very much smaller than the normal Mantras but everything else about it was big, The Service. The cleanliness, the staff's attitude and the restaurants were outstanding! Right up to the stage we found some flies in my Wife's salad. A little bit of a turnoff. Otherwise a very, very good place to stay and we will be back. Perhaps no salad the next time.
