Arrived at hotel to be told the hotel was full even though I had a booking, I was then asked if I could go to a sister hotel a couple of minutes walk away. On arrival at that hotel there was not a room available and they were trying to “sort” something out. I was then given a £25 voucher to eat at the Bella Italia restaurant. I was then told by staff that there was a room available back at the Paddington hotel as a guest had cancelled, my question was that if that guest did not cancel what would I have been doing, to which their reply was they did not know.
