The lifts were annoyingly slow and constantly being used for laundry or housekeeping. The guest had to collect their room service- that is not room service.

The location of ibis is great and my room was a good one on the topo floor facing the river. I was disappointed that I was overcharged for my stay. As it was a fast check out, I did not see my bill until after I had departed. I then had to return to ibis to question the overcharge. The reception staff could not explain it - but tried to justify it. A manager was called, who then reversed the over charged amount. Disappointing that I had to return from my journey and then was stone walled by the reception staff. Left a sour taste and made me question if I would return.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to discover an overcharge after your departure, and even more so to have to return to seek a solution in person. While we\'re pleased that the Duty manager was able to resolve the matter, it\'s disappointing to hear that the initial response from our front desk staff left you feeling unheard. Please know that this is not the experience we aim to provide and we will share these comments with the team to help improve the way we handle billing queries and fast check-outs in the future.
