"Nice hotel"

The location is not in the centre, but its close to had rock cafe and 20 minutes walk to the jungceylon (shopping centre). 15 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the street bar. So many restaurant nearby.The room was big and clean, well maintained. Good breakfast and dinner. They have so many variant of food. Nice swimming pool and very warm of the staff.The wifi is free and fast. Overall this is good hotel.

"Enjoyable"

Nice hotel,nice staff. The location was ok, a little "smelly" in the area as compared to the beach front locations. Fabulous food!! Room cleaning was a little late in the day but always done beautifully. Very reasonable charges.

"Good stay but not happy at all."

Ich werde unten Englisch schreiben, damit meisten Leute es lesen könnte.Our stay was good. It was just complicated at the check in and check out time. By check in we arrived there 9.30 p.m. I wrote your hotel before lunch time on the arriving day to let you know that we would be there later than 8 a.m. and the rooms should be ready for us. The answer we got was the rooms were ready just before we got to the plain. After we arrived the first disappointing was the frontdesk staff try to change our room for other guest and put us (two rooms) on different floor (3 and 6) as we first knew it was on the same floor. By check out we had order a hotel van to the airport (we mean exactly hotel van and also made it clear at the purchase time and the staff acknowledged it!) but what we got is the Van from outside. It was not good.The breakfast was good but not worth 400 Baht even you have an expresso-mashine, after my opinion it worth about 280-320 Baht. And the last day a F&B Girl with short hair just lie to me that the mashine and the spare-mashine both didn't not work until a F&B man came to me and asked if I would like to have an expresso then he showed me that both mashine were working.Overall I would say I'm happy with the services but not with a few things that the staff try to tricks me. This was the first time we stay at Mercure, before that we mostly stay at Novotel and sometimes at Sofitel. One of uns has been working as Humanresource- and Training-Manager at Novotel for ten years.I just hope you would train your staffs better by next time if we decide to stay at your hotel. Before we make a new booking we would check more comments of other guests.

"Our Anniversary stay in Mercure Phuket Deevana"

We pre-booked our stay under the member's hot deals in May 2012 where there was no cancellation nor changes allowed (thinking that this was a good deal). However, when we checked the website in early Dec 2012, we found that the member's hot deals rate was much lower than what we paid. After informing Accor, they said that this could be due to the low occupancy rate during the season. They could not do anything but told us to contact the hotel direct to see if they can help us. The only thing we got from the hotel was a change of room's view and nothing else. Therefore from my experience, I would suggest that we book under the normal member's rates where we can cancel anytime and nearing the date of stay, check the website to see if there is any better deals. Otherwise, the stay was comfortable and location was good.

stayed here while doing dive trip, found staff very helpful and spoke good English.good value for money with great food in restaurant, buffet breakfast was one of the better ones Ive seen in Phuket. will be staying at this hotel again.location only a short walk to party centralthank you for a great stay

"This hotel needs a big refurbishment"

This hotel we have stayed at twice now. The hotel has gone down hill very fast in a short period of time. The hotel is in desperate need of maintainence and is looking and feeling very old (all though not that old). The staff are not trained very well and have no idea of what the traveling holidaying customer needs. The English language understanding is poor and they don't know what the processes are within the hotel. Very dissapointed with this past stay and will not stay at this hotel again.

Good value for money great location. Rooms need to be better maintained. i.e. brokentile in shower, shower rose not working. Scratches and scrapes need to be touched up.Pool side furniture needs to be maintained. i.e. replace missing bolts and screws.Staff great.

stayed here november for 3 nights in there standard room. the room itself is ok- was clean, modern, large size bathroom/toilet/shower area. good size refrigerator. the kingsize bed is 2 singles put together. tv was ok with good selection of channels. free wifi in room. my room had balcony with view of phuket city.. location wise, hotel is about 8-10 minutes walk away from the beach. good 10 minute walk up the street to the new jungceylon shopping mall. ill comment on what others have noted. yes, when you open door at first you can get a odor/smell. but it goes after few minutes if you keep the door, or balcony door open. yes noise does travel. the hallways- walls, floor are concrete, the doors are heavy, so you can hear doors opened/closed hard etc. . hallways can get dark and are hot. the swimming pool is great, but you have to be there early to get a deck chair etc. staff i dealt with were very polite and customer service friendly. i didnt eat at the restuarants, so cant comment on there food etc.

Everything is fair - staff, location not far from city center and the beach (10 mins walk) , bedroom / bathroom size, breakfast. Need more cleanliness since found dust on furnitures and on top of everywhere. Ok for short-term stay.
