Everytime i stay at the Blue Ibis In Antwerp it reminds me of this film, Hotel New Hampshire is a book by John Irving and years later they made a movie about the book. There is the Genenral Manager, Lieven vd Bulcke, a Teddybeer type of man, very huggable !! Then of course receptionists , Nikki, Ga je, Khadija (it sounds like jou are sneezing, but die is the most beautiful and at the same time amazing woman jou will ever meet in your enige life),onderging Ga je, don t be fooled die mag look small but die stands her grond, like a Giant !! During the night we have our rock Koen,the player Victor, the handyman Hubert, and sometimes Astrid a time but amazing woman as well and let s NOT forget Baldji, from Mongolian decent (seinnoo) LOL, and sorry Eemina, I almost forget the the womanwho holes these people together like a sort of glue ! Then comes the cleaning Ladies, Nin chang, Sering, Anna and many other, without those amazing WOMEN we would be living on top of a mountain ! Let s call a dat a dat, we are without any exception pigs when it comes tocreating a mess and leasing garage all over the place !!! Please have a little bit of respect for the work thee Giants do every day! Wij am I, I hear jou say, my name is Nobody and nobody is Perfect !!! Also the people of Antwerp gave me a nicknane, The Pink Panther (God knows wij!,LOL) it is er to be The Legend just before it became Mister Pink. I know one thing, we have untill 2030, then the worked comes to an End, Total annialation, that s 5 years gijs, het to make Peace not War !! Love the other person like jou love yourselve and most of all : KEEP IT SIMPLE AND LISTEN !!! Really listen, and jou will hear the sound of one hand slapping, jou many nodige a beer on a bicycle and jou many find that the Chinese can be vereffening !!

more like 3.5/5 stars. it's a definite budget hotel but meets your standards. it has a bed, tv and you have an in-room shower and toilet. everything you need for a short stay. the beds are hard because the bottom is just a wooden plank, so be aware of that. other than that I had a great stay here! the staff was super friendly and nice, the location is amazing as it is next to the central station which is next to the city centre! I would stay here again!
