Good location but oom to hot.

This is a great location for the local trams, Vorgartenstrabe underground station is the closest station just a couple of minutes walk. We booked 2 rooms & the air conditioning was not working in either room, you could only have heating on, but felt like the heating was on in the corridors. Making it very uncomfortable to sleep at night. That said it was the beginning of April & they do not normally have hot weather but was experiencing a heat wave 27/28 degrees, but they need to change the heating accordingly.

Bad sleep

I stayed in 4 hotels in 4 days and this was by far the worst sleep I had. In the bathroom, hidden behind a panel, were huge ventilation pipes which made a loud noise constantly (not the air con for my room or extractor fan for the bathroom, they seemed to be circulating air to elsewhere in the hotel). I found it almost impossible to sleep with the noise. I also find it ridiculous in 2024 when hotels still don’t have plug sockets near the bed to charge phones. The hotel is a short walk from Prater amusement park and its iconic ferris wheel, which was visible from my window. It’s also close to the Vorgartenstraße u-bahn station for easy access to other parts of the city. Next door is the Ibis Budget Hotel which I made the mistake of trying to check-in at!

Only one thing surprised us. After arrival back home we found the luggage locker changed code (we store the luggage for few hours before departure at the reception). I don't wanna say something bad, but that midnight surprise when u cannot open the luggage at home was really terrible. Until now we don't understand how it was possible, if there were some issues with the luggage or somebody manipulated with that (luggage was all the way home under our control). Anyways, we don't miss something inside, it was just little "shady".

+ Metro station is not far from the hotel. The hotel is very clean and quiet. - There is only one towel per person in the room. There is no restaurant in the hotel
