Excellent location within a stones throw to the great market, and Central Station. Clean and neat hotel, while rooms on the small side you don't pay to visit the hotel room. Easy walking distance to key sights and plenty of restaurants in the area.

The Ibis is a very easy walk from Central Station, the rooms were clean and comfortable (one room was a bit smaller. but still a very nice stay) and the staff was very friendly - and multi-lingual.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the center of many great sites, shopping, and restaurants. The room is somewhat small, but clean and comfortable. My window looked out on a side street but with a view to the front, with a lovely view of the city scape and activity below. The window opens which allows fresh air and the ability to enjoy live music from the plaza in the evening. However, the window has good sound insulation, so when closed it blocks out the street noise for sleeping.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 6 or 7 years when visiting Brussels on EU business. I was therefore disappointed to find I had been allocated a room on the ground floor next to the bar which was Cleary not considered the best room by the staff on check-in. This despite the fact that I have been a regular customer and had mede my booking several months in advance. The situation was compounded by my being given an alternative room on the 5th floor which I found to be occupied when I entered it. The situation was finally resolved the following day when I was moved to a good room on the 4th floor - but only after I had expressed my dissatisfaction quite forcefully to the check in staff, something as an Accor Silver member, I should not have had to do.
