We spent 5 nights in Bayeux. This was our 3rd stay at the hotel. We have never been dissatisfied. Except for the very cramped space, but we are used to American hotels with much bigger rooms and 2 queen beds, and knew to expect that. The staff are always super friendly and so very helpful with every single detail. The breakfast is the best we've had. Thank you all so much for going above and beyond.

Very good .Good size room although the toilet is small with a small loo. The shower could do with a safety hand rail . and a bath stool. Difficult for elderly people who are not disabled but require that type of safety. The hotel has a good outlook and is well situated for easy access to the charms of Bayeux and its surrounds. We tend to eat at restaurants in the town and Port en Bessin. Ample choice. we have visited the hotel many times and never had any problems for example there is a lift for those like me who have had knee replacements. Convenient for the Cemetery as I visit my cousin's grave. Le Claire supermarket very close. Good cafe and lunch. Well stocked supermarket. very good deli.

TOUT S'ANNONCAIT BIEN.....JOLI DECOR,PERSONNEL au TOP,mais L'ARRIVEE du POULET

Tout avait bien commencé....! Au moment de la réservation téléphonique à 11H15 pour 2 couverts ce jour 03 Février 2025 à 12H00 un accueil très poli. A notre arrivée à 12H00 un Personnel fort courtois est présent et nous découvrons un Novotel offrant une décoration bien au-dessus des "normes" du groupe Accord et un mobilier confortable. Mme Mélaine (Elle aussi très souriante) prend notre commande.Nous optons pour la formule à 30 Euros (E+P+D) . Arrive en Entrée : LA SOUPE de POTIRON avec son Oeuf Poché ( cuisson parfaitement réussie) et sa tranche de pain légerement toasté. L'ensemble est VRAIMENT DELICIEUX ! Nous nous disons que si la suite est aussi rafinée , voilà une Table qui nous verra souvent. Arrive nos Assiettes de Poulet à la Sauce Normande avec en garnitures des Tagliatelles;.....et là, stupeur ! En effet d'emblé le visuel montre clairement que les filets de Poulet sont TROP,TROP, CUITS. Les morceaux sont archi secs et la sauce à La Normande est un liquide ressemblant à du yaourt à l'eau.....! Comment un Chef digne de ce Nom à pu laisser sortir de ses cuisines deux assiéttes aussi fades ? Il est impossible que personne en cuisine ne se soit aperçu que le poulet avait subit une très mauvaise cuisson. Pour les Taglatelles, celles de mon Compagnon étaient chaudes, les miennes froides. Bien entendu nous avons fait part de notre surprise à Mélaine tout en lui explicant que nous étions surpris par rapport aux Avis Lus sur TRIPADVISOR. C'est d'autant plus incompréhensible que le Dessert (Moklava aux agrumes sur dans un Nid Meringué) qui clôtura ce Déjeuner se révèla être TRES JOLI dans sa présentation et plein de saveurs. 92 Euros pour 2, nous pensons que pour ce prix, le Plat Principal se devait être réussi d'autant plus que Cuire du Poulet ne relève pas d'un exploit culinaire ???? Table 5 . Nous ne pensons pas y revenir, un peu trop déçu.
