PROS: - very efficient and kind personnel, - receipt by e-mail, - very fast check in and out, - low prices - always available rooms - well located for people movig by bus / car - desk available and comfortable in room (double), chair not so comfortable. CONS.: - very noisy rooms from inside (bathroom ventilator whistling due to wind) and mostly from outside, south side (noise early at morning 5 AM, and late in the evening 12:00PM-1:00 AM due to long vehicles); - minibar missing - sanitary ware such as bidets and toilets installed in positions not always comfortable (too close to shower box) - not comfortable bed and covers - temperature in room not correctly controlled and regulate : warm at late evening, cold during nightime, hot in early morning (awaken by too high temp), very old Thermo-regulator with unreadable values, very difficult to read and set. - carpet bad looking in the room - water distributor available but for cans (?!!! stange choice !!!) not bottle. - WiFi not stabel (often missing/loosing signal) and not fast enough - illumination not comfortable (switches not located close to bed, very poor illumination in many parts of the room and not good also in the bathroom).

I was awoken at 1.30am because Valentina at the front desk did not know who was occupying the room I was staying in. Instead of calling the person who checked me in at 1.30am because it was an unsociable hour, she decided to wake me up at 1.30am to ask who I was. Unbelievably terrible service, the whole floor had a foul cigarette smell and the staff were not helpful at all. The following morning I requested to speak to a manager, this did not happen. I wanted to order a coffee from the bar and asked front desk if they could source someone to do this for me, waited 45minutes before I gave up. As a diamond Accor member, I was not offered my welcome drink either. Absolutely horrendous service. The cherry on top has to be the unapologetic call at 1.30am. How disgraceful. I travel to Florence weekly and I will never use this hotel again, neither will any of my staff. Do yourself a favour, book a different hotel.

my staying was for few days, for business reasons. very fast check-in and out. very easy to reach and move if you have a car, not close to Florence enough to avoid bus/taxi services. bad not good, topper and bad strangely arranged. Breakfast good enough, not excellent (eggs and sausages, brioches and marmalade-cake, different tea selection, and juices, honey, coffee, salami, cooked ham and cheese slices...) Noisy room (south side): car movement audible from room at 5, 6 o'clock even at 4th floor probably ok for families but not seen any service dedicated to. good for parking freely around. Facility has its own underground garage, subject to payment. very friendly staff Marco (from Italy)

The whole hotel smelled like cigarettes, especially in the corridors outside the room. You could feel the smell in the room and soaked into the walls.
