Our room had a great view and the staff were very helpful, but the aircon in our room didn’t work, so we had no choice to have windows open during the very noisy night. Breakfast was very disappointing too.

First there was no recognition of me being an Accor Platinum member when I checked in. I’ve never had that in any of the Accor hotels that I’ve stayed at. I had to call and ask not once but three times for the welcome amenity which is always a plate of fruit and instead after two days I got a small bag of dried unflavourful cookies. Second no A/C for three days of our stay. I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t leave the windows opened because of the very loud noise coming from the patio restaurant across the hotel. Concierge, house keeping and valet were excellent! Limited menu for the restaurant and room service. I’m seeking compensation for st least two nights for not being able to sleep because of no A/C If I had known at check in you had no A/C I would have left to another hotel immediately!

I have stayed here many times over the past decade. It’s one of my favourite hotels. I booked for 3 nights. On the first night, I was given a room with a great view but it was a connected room and I could hear the occupant next door talking, using the bathroom etc. The toilet door (in my own room) was jammed. The next morning, I asked to move and was given a room with an equally good view and it was very quiet. I slept very well. The room again looked a bit tired with scratches and chips to the furniture. The television worked intermittently as it lost its signal. It rained very hard one evening and water leaked into at least 2 of the public areas (not my room). I think repairs were being undertaken. There were towels and signs on the floor. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were welcoming and kind. But, for me, the hotel has lost some of its quality and is in need of a refurbishment.
