Sofitel Luang Prabang is a treasure…from the welcome experience to the cozy rooms and beds, to the serenity of the pool and surroundings, to the breakfast selection to watching the little bunnies run around. Just returned from a long stay at the Sofitel Laung Prabang. Had an absolutely fantastic time, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short ride from the main strip, but easily accessible as hotel will order taxi or Tuk Tuk, and have shuttle transfer at certain times of the day and evening. The grounds and pool are very well manicured, with the bonus of rabbits running freely. Breakfast was very good and had everything you would need, including a complementary neck massage. The room was spotless and very well kept with ample space. Already planning our trip back next year!!!

It was our first time visiting and staying at Sofitel Luang Prabang. The hotel used to be a French Governor residence back in the colonial era, later it was refurbished to Sofitel, keeping its French Colonial architecture. Despite its rich history, the hotel is well kept and maintained. It does not show its age even though its almost 100 years old. The room is spacious and clean with an outdoor bathtub and mini garden. The hotel has a nice garden and we love the rabbits that they have and they are free to roam around the garden providing guests a nice and cute welcome. I highly recommend you to stay at Sofitel Luang Prabang when you visit Luang Prabang, a UNESCO heritage site. The service is amazing, tentative and friendly. Special shout out to Te, Vard, Leng, Noudny, and Yai for their great service. And making our stay a pleasant and memorable stay. Cheers!

We Spent a memorable 3 days here to celebrate a special birthday. Incredible service from start to finish. As the hotel was quiet, we were upgraded to a villa with its own pool. The main pool was huge and very clean also. Beautiful grounds and rooms in historic buildings with a lovely lilly pond, palm trees. Delicious breakfasts are served in a tented dining room. We did not eat other meals here as our tour booked meals in the many lovely restaurants. (Just to pass on to the Accor management that the prices seemed very high compared to the restaurants in town ). We walked to various sites in town from the hotel and felt very safe. There is an also a free evening shuttle to and from the Sister hotel / 3 Nagas restaurant from 6pm til 9pm very close to the night market. They kindly dropped us and another couple close to the Laos Ballet. Arranged a lovely birthday cake and the staff delivered it to the room and sang happy birthday . Kindly also Arranged for us to have another room for a late check out as our flight left later in the day. I must make a special mention of the incredible service by all the management and staff - well done, you are the best !! We will recommend you to all our friends back home.

Welcoming staff, lovely rooms, bicycles available for guests, great pool, quiet location yet near the peninsula. The restaurant is good but a bit expensive compared to nearby restaurants.
