One of my favourite hotels in Hong Kong!

The Novotel Citygate is one of my favourite hotels in Hong Kong. The staff are polite, efficient and helpful from the Front Desk to the housekeeping staff. The rooms are quite large, clean and tidy. The location is great if you plan to do some shopping at the Outlets or eat out at the restaurants there. Also, Tung Chung MTR station is nearby which is quite handy if you want to go to Hong Kong Disneyland or the main city centre which is about a 40 minute ride. The cable cars to Ngong Ping Village is also a short 5 - 10 minute walk from the hotel. There was a large variety of food at the buffet breakfast, from western to Asian. No complaints! The best thing about the Novotel Citygate, is the free shuttle to the airport, which quite handy. I would stay here again.

The hotel is absolutely spectacular. It’s spotless throughout. The rooms are a very reasonable size (standard room @ 300 sq feet). And the staff couldn’t have been more professional, courteous and helpful. Its housekeeping staff are also superb. Additionally, it is near the airport, right beside the MTRA (hence easy access to all areas of Hong Kong), and attached to the CityGate outlets mall (perfect for a shopping trip if that’s your thing). Also, its breakfast buffet offers everything you could possibly think of, and all offerings were top class. It also has excellent evening dining options (we tried both restaurants, Essence and Aleo for dinner). To top it off, it also offers free airport shuttles.
